The Chainsmokers have been dominating the Billboard Hot 100 for over a year — but their Top 10 reign on the most valued chart in the nation has finally come to an end.
After keeping at least one song in the Top 10 for 61 straight weeks, “Something Just Like This,” the electronic duo’s latest hit with Coldplay, dropped from #10 to #13. They can blame French Montana, as his song “Unforgettable” featuring Swae Lee jumped to the sweet spot this week, pushing The Chainsmokers down a few notches.
The Chainsmokers beat Drake‘s record of 51 consecutive weeks in the Top 10, but couldn’t quite beat Katy Perry‘s record of 69 straight weeks during her Teenage Dream reign.
Guess all good things must come to an end!
