Today marks a sad day in dance music, as four years ago fans learned of the death of Bingo Players‘ Paul Bäumer.
The DJ passed away on December 17, 2013 after a long battle with cancer and the grave news followed the next day. Today, family, friends, fans and his counterpart Maarten Hoogstraten are all remembering this music legend who will be forever missed.
“I’m deeply saddened to tell you that Paul passed away last night after his battle with cancer. He fought strongly until the end,” the initial news hit like a ton of bricks.
“Today it’s been 4 years… we miss you,” Bingo Players shared in a reflective post on social accounts today.
The Bingo Players are known for iconic tracks like “Touch Me,” “Get Up,” “Out Of My Mind” and many more. Since the devastating loss, Maarten has carried on with the Bingo Players’ legacy to Paul’s wishes.
RIP, Paul Bäumer.
