The 2018 American Music Awards ceremony was a star-studded affair last night, featuring music’s biggest stars including Taylor Swift, Post Malone, Cardi B, Jennifer Lopez and so many more.
Being bad paid off for Taylor Swift, as she scooped up several awards including the coveted Artist of the Year. She also took home Favorite Female Artist Pop/Rock, Favorite Album Pop/Rock for reputation, and Tour of the Year.
Newcomer Cardi B won big with Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist and Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Song. Her breakout hit “Bodak Yellow” is still getting massive attention.
Post Malone snagged Favorite Male Artist Pop/Rock and Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album for beerbongs & bentleys and Favorite Duo/Group Pop/Rock went to Migos. Despite all their catchy, hit songs, none could overcome Camila Cabello‘s “Havana,” which won Favorite Song in the Pop/Rock category.
Marshmello went head-to-head with The Chainsmokers and Zedd for Favorite Artist in the Electronic Dance Music category, and came out on top. More on that here.
