Later this month, Linkin Park will hold a memorial concert at the Hollywood Bowl, where the group was already scheduled to perform before the death of lead singer and frontman Chester Bennington in July. Today, the group has uploaded an episode of Carpool Karaoke, hosted by Ken Jeong, that was filmed a week before his death.
It’s often difficult to predict that someone will take their own life, and judging by Bennington’s demeanor in this video, it’s clear to see why it came as such a shock. He’s laughing, smiling and having fun singing with the group.
The episode was released with the blessing of Bennington’s family and is dedicated in his honor.
