Pioneer Introduces Standalone DJ Sampler

Many DJs are beginning to implement live performance elements into their sets in an attempt to set them apart from the rest of the pack. Artists like Infected Mushroom and Pendulum have been doing it for years and years, where as Lido and Gryffin are among the newest adopters, and Ookay newer still…

Pioneer wants to become a part of a DJ’s live experience, and have introduced the DJS-1000 in a plea to hone in on that burgeoning market. The new piece of hardware features 16 input keys, 16 performance pads, and a whole host of other performance features and inputs/outputs.

It’s used effortlessly in conjunction with current model CDJs, and is designed to “fit perfectly alongside the CDJ-2000NXS2 and DJM-900NXS2, creating effortless unity in the DJ booth.”

The DJS-1000 will be available from mid-October 2017 at an SRP of $1199.00 including VAT.
