The Chainsmokers decided to wake up today and drop “some realness” on their Twitter follows, and it’s pretty bleak…
Nobody is fucking happy.
You’re here one day and the next you’re not. God? Religion? I’ve learned a lot more by eating acid and swallowing pills.
Wanna know the fucking truth? Pity is just another word for pathetic.
You find God in between the cracks of a wall when you’re puking your limbs out.

It took an hour for The Chainsmokers to tweet again and admit to fans they didn’t write it, and just “found it online,” reaping whatever quasi-intellectual benefit they did from sharing it. They even admit that they don’t agree with all of it… Meanwhile, fans reactions were very split, ranging from absolute cringe to downright worship.
Didn't write that, found it online. Some of it is a little aggressive and don't agree with all of it but at the core a pretty dope message

I’m religious (and still am), but this is motivating. Finally someone spoke about this sort of thing.
