With the amount of time deadmau5 spends in the studio, we wouldn’t be surprised if he has hundreds of works in progress (WIPs) that will never see the light of day. Even with all his time spent streaming, there are probably dozens more that no one knows about.
One that was captured on stream, however, was this track being called “Still Bored.” It was captured last year in August, but has just resurfaced on Twitter in all its trip hop glory and we desperately need for this to be finished. Between the acid synths and naturally hypnotic beat sequences, this is a deadmau5 tune for any time of day.
We know that we can expect a new deadmau5 album sometime in Spring 2018, so maybe there’s a chance that an updated version of “Still Bored” is on there? We can hope.
