“Sex Island” Experience With All-Inclusive Prostitutes, Alcohol, Drugs, Banned In Colombia

The four day “Sex Island” festival, which proudly offers a drug-friendly atmosphere with all-inclusive food, alcohol, and (of course) sex is being banned by the Colombian government. Go figure.

Golden Girls Resort, which offers the wild and raunchy festival experience on a private island off the coast of Catagena, Colombia, is simply too indulgent for its own good. After YouTube videos were yanked for being too risk-ay — the Columbian government has now come forward to prohibit the trip.

Mayor Sergio Londoño Zurek says “Sex Island” simply makes the country look bad:

The translation: “Unacceptable that they want to sell us as a sexual destination. That is not the tourism we represent. We will not allow it.”

Apparently the world isn’t ready for a place that blatantly offers up hard drugs, prostitutes, and alcohol to excess. And hopefully the world never will be.

The 30 guests set to embark on this journey might be in for a rude awakening when a promise of “unlimited sex” is met with the law. We’ll see how it all plays out.
