Yesterday, notable technology leaks forum SLASHLEAKS shared the official launch videos for Samsung’s next generation flagship smartphones the S9 and S9+. The day before, Samsung officially announced that the S9 would be available for pre-order starting March 2nd and available in stores on March 16th.
The official advertisement seems to be geared towards business or enterprise-level users. It starts by introducing the phone as a “new kind of mobile phone, for a new kind of mobile reality.” The phone will be able to replicate a “PC like experience” with the help of the Samsung DeX. It includes support for real-time, real-world translation plus a camera that comes equipped for AR readiness, and the ability to pair apps to your own needs. The phone also has support for an Enterprise Edition, “the comprehensive package that completes the phone designed for business today.” Oh, did we also mention that the phone is waterproof, and it still has a headphone jack, too.
