Will Sparks is best known for his Melbourne Bounce style, but there’s so much more to the professional DJ/producer than meets the ear. According to a new report, he is now Dr. William Euripides Barclay Sparkman, as he just completed his PhD in Chemical Engineering.
Nobody has caught onto Will Sparks’ “double life” — until now. Not only did he earn his prestigious degree, the DJ secretly completed his PhD program at a yet-to-be-revealed top 10 ranked University.
He revealed to Stoney Roads: “For years I’ve outwitted those peasants called the media and built up a knowledge of science beyond mosts of humanities comprehension. These beefy biceps didn’t come from the gym. They come from writing a fucking 10,000 page thesis.”
Overall, he’s been keeping a pretty low profile. Most recently, Will Sparks put out “Sick Like That” featuring Luciana and “Get Lit” featuring Lil Debbie in 2015; and last year, he put out “Young and Free” featuring Priyanka Chopra — all via Ultra Records.
So what’s next for the DJ/producer/graduate? He’s more likely to stay focused on “reducing the environmental impact of primary production in third world countries” than coming up with the next big Melbourne Bounce anthem.
