Rapper XXXTentacion was shot and killed in his vehicle on Monday in Deerfield, FL. A suspect in that murder has now been arrested, according to BBC.
The suspect is 22-year-old Dedrick D Williams, who faces a charge of first-degree murder.
XXXTentacion, real name Jahseh Onfroy, was sitting in his car having left a motorcycle dealership on Monday afternoon. Witnesses saw a dark-coloured SUV pull up alongside Onfroy’s vehicle before at least one of them opened fire, hitting and killing Onfroy.
It is not clear if police are looking for other suspects.
The arrest was confirmed by Gina Carter, the public information officer for Broward County Sheriff’s Office, on Twitter.
