Bunk Police Reveal The Crazy Story Behind Fentanyl-Laced Cocaine At Electric Forest

The Bunk Police was founded in 2011 as a way to combat the ever-growing trend of laced drugs being sold to unknowing, and often naive, ravers at festivals and beyond. They offer a variety of tools and educational materials focused on providing drug users with methods of finding out what their drugs could be laced with.

Two weeks ago at Electric Forest, a batch of fentanyl-laced cocaine was going around and causing problems. One Bunk Police volunteer at the festival recounted his bizarre story of tracking down the dealers responsible and the sticky quasi-legal situations he found himself in as a result.

Eventually, the laced drugs were narrowed down to two dealers. One of the dealers filmed a tear-filled apology for Bunk Police, who released the video under the condition that his face was blurred and voice modulated. The other dealer, after learning that his drugs were laced with fentanyl, maliciously continued to sell his baggies to unsuspecting buyers at the festival. While we don’t agree with the decision to not turn in the second dealer, we respect the sticky legal situation it would have put the volunteer in.

Both the video of the confession and the entire account of what went down from the Bunk Police volunteer on reddit are below. It’s an absolutely incredible story by any measure.
