Man Reported Missing After Electric Forest, Family Seeks Help

Police and family members are asking for help in searching for a 28-year-old man who turned up missing on the final day of Electric Forest 2018.

The missing man, Kevin Graves, was last seen by those close to him on the evening of July 1st, according to his brother Tim Graves. He said he was going back to his tent to rest after fighting with his girlfriend, but was not there later in the night.

The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office has since opened up an investigation in part with the Michigan State Police Hart Post. Meanwhile, his brother and father Tim Graves are also doing everything they can to find their missing family member.

They have searched Muskegon Heights, where possible sightings of Kevin were reported over the past two days, as well as the Rothbury area, where Electric Forest was held over the past two weekends. The missing man hasn’t turned up in any hospitals or homeless shelters.

The family has been hanging up “missing” posters everywhere they go. Now, they’ve turned to social media to help with search.

Kevin Graves of Highland Township in Oakland County stands approximately 6 feet tall and weighs 185 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. See photos below.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Kevin Graves is asked to contact the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office at (248) 858-4950, the Michigan State Police Hart Post (231) 873-2171, or Mason-Oceana Central Dispatch (231) 869-5858.
