As we all saw play out in the documentaries, Ja Rule and the rest of the Fyre Festival organizers fell flat on the faces. Organizing a luxury event of that scale on an island proved to be pretty much impossible, at least for their overly ambitious timeline. But the rapper is getting up and trying again!
In a new interview with TMZ, Ja Rule reveals he hasn’t even watched the documentaries. “I lived it man, I ain’t gotta watch it!” he says in the video below.
Still, he believes in his vision and he’s optimistic about the future. “In the midst of chaos, there’s opportunity,” he says.
Ja reveals he’s busy at work with his new platform, rebranded as Icon. It’s basically the Fyre app 2.0. He doesn’t end the interview before stating, “I have plans to create the iconic music festival, but you didn’t hear it from me.”
Get ready.
