Lost Lands is back for a third year and promising to be better than ever! Excision himself just took to the music festival’s official Facebook group page to voice his excitement about the 2019 installment and give some much needed insight on what’s to come.
Probably the best part about Lost Lands is Excision’s willingness to listen to the attendees. He’s been taking feedback to heart and looking for ways to improve the event. Big changes coming to camping and sound camps, plus loyalty ticketing and more shuttle options.
“My biggest goal with Lost Lands has always been to create the best music festival experience possible for Headbangers worldwide,” Excision shares. “…something we can all be proud to call our own as the Bass Music Community.”
With that being said, let’s run through some of this information…
CAMPING
Wednesday Early Entry: Significantly reduce entry wait times by introducing Wednesday Early Entry. This will spread out traffic flow over 3 days instead of 2 days, and it will give some people an extra day to hang and get settled.
Dino Den: The “Dino Den” area is now being reformatted to include three different types of camping: Tent-Only Close Camping, Easy Close Camping and Quiet Car Camping. This will allow for more people to camp closer to the festival than ever before, plus give Quiet Camping plenty of isolation from the other campgrounds.
Premium Camping: If you’re looking for a more premium camping experience, we’re now offering 2 different Jurassic Glamping options just across the street from the festival entrance.
Tent-Only Camping: This area will be priced lower at $49 each to open up more camping spaces closer to the festival entrance and offer a more affordable camping option.
TICKETING
Discount Codes: This year we sent out over 22,000 unique discount codes to Headbangers who registered their wristband last year. We’re proud to offer this Loyalty discount to anyone who decides to come back for a consecutive year! If you missed out on registering your wristband last year, you’ll have the opportunity to register your wristband this year shortly after receiving it in the mail.
Payment Plans: Payment plans are back, and they will be available at launch on 1pm Friday, even if you are using your Loyalty discount!
SOUND CAMPS
Sound Camps: We’re improving the Sound Camp experience by relocating it inside the main venue, where all of your favorite vendors, food and drinks are close by. That means when the main stages end each night, the sound camps will come alive inside the venue. You don’t have to walk anywhere!
HOTELS & SHUTTLES
Express Shuttles: We are adding more Dino Express Shuttles to go between Legend Valley and Columbus so they depart more frequently throughout the weekend.
Long Haul Shuttles: New Long Haul Shuttle stops have been added for 2019, including longer trips like Washington DC and New York City.
