Depending on who you ask, Salvatore Ganacci was the best or worst thing to happen to Tomorrowland last year. We’re gonna go with the best — because this guy is an absolute riot and certainly knows his way behind the decks. His crazy antics may not be for everyone, but we believe this guy should be able to celebrate himself and his artistry anyway he so desires.
That being said, Ganacci had something very special planned for Tomorrowland during his set yesterday. With the bar set high from his viral performance last year, attendees were expecting to see a show and he delivered.
The Book of Wisdom‘s familiar theme and narrator took over the house speakers, introducing (more like badmouthing) Ganacci — but he wasn’t on stage. It wasn’t until fans found him booing in the crowd that he finally worked his way onto the main stage and took the bull by the horns. Both hilarious and effective.
Ganacci was clearly having a blast on stage, but he dropped some serious heat as well. The DJ got his hands on one of Dog Blood‘s most anticipated unreleased ID’s — known as “Midnight Hour” with Ty Dolla $ign. The track went off of course, making for another standout Tomorrowland moment.
