Marking his first release in 2022, following his catchy 2021 single “Virus” with rapper Babz Wayne, Wasback has returned with yet another banger, this time teaming up with Yaat to unveil “Jenny From The Block,” a dancefloor-ready cover of Jennifer Lopez homonymous 2002 single. Having went viral on SoundCloud and Hypeddit with over 2,8K downloads, “Jenny From The Block” will definitely aid in taking Wasback and Yaat’s career to the next level, while it’s being powered by Monk Mafia’s Independent NFT platform, which aims to allow fans to invest in their favorite artists’ music.
Wasback launched his career back in 2016 with “Magic” alongside MR.BLACK, which was released on Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings. Over the past years he has amassed tens of millions of streams, collaborated with the likes of JETFIRE, Stefy De Cicco and Sam Tinnesz, as well as signed his music to Warner Music Denmark and Universal Music. Yaat is the new alias of Yaman, who has been taking over dance music one single at a time, while DJing as a resident at Hong Kong’s premier electronic music nightclub Boomerang, which made headlines last year for landing on DJ Mag’s Top 100 Cubs list.
