Eric Prydz was declared the year’s “Best DJ” by the Electronic Music Awards — an inaugural awards show devoted to exposing the best in EDM music and culture!
The EMAs presented Eric Prydz with one of the most coveted awards of the night, declaring him the king of the decks over A-Trak, The Black Madonna, Claude VonStroke, and Diplo, which all rounded out the category’s nominations. Prydz is known for his EPIC productions with holographic images, crazy light shows, and of course, stellar DJing on his part.
The EMAs were broadcast live via Twitter from Los Angeles, CA last night, under the designated hashtag #EMAwards. Producers, DJs, and industry professionals joined together to celebrate the genre with the very first awards show exclusively for electronic music.
