Everybody’s favorite feline, Cashmere Cat took home one of the top honors at the first-ever Electronic Music Awards last night!
The EMAs announced Cashmere Cat “Best Producer,” declaring him winner over Hot Since 82, Odesza, Sasha and The Chainsmokers. This was one of the most well-deserved awards considering the producer’s 2017 studio album 9 can already be considered one of the very best of the year (listen below).
The awards show was broadcast live via Twitter from Los Angeles, CA last night, under the designated hashtag #EMAwards. Producers, DJs, and industry professionals joined together to celebrate the genre with the very first awards show exclusively for electronic music.
