Rezz recently spoke out on Twitter after apparently catching some flack about playing a Bassnectar track in her sets, and now the bass god himself has a response concerning the matter.
It’s unknown what exactly set off the conversation in the first place, but her tweet sourced “his fans” directly. She suggested anyone with a problem should “drink tea n stay calm,” and vowed to keep playing his music:
Sorry let me clarify why: it's cuz apparently his fans don't like it wen other artists play his tunes.
Well I like him! So I will !— RΞZZ (@OfficialRezz) November 5, 2017
The mau5trap producer has been known to play out the always classic “Bass Head,” but more recently she switched it up to Bassnectar & Gnar Gnar’s “I’m Up” for her Mass Manipulation tour. Matched with her own mind-bending, bass heavy productions, spinning in a little Nectar every here and there makes total sense.
A few days later, and Bassnectar directly responded. He naturally kept it fun loving, and reassured Rezz, “The vast majority of bass heads love bass, kindness & creativity.”
“We love you!” he added. Bassnectar also urged her to “mash it up properly.”
Fans immediately jumped at the possibility of the collaboration. What would the haters say then!?
Bassnectar Responds to Rezz
