Eminem, Beyoncé and The Weeknd Reportedly Headlining Coachella 2018

We are just a few weeks out from the Coachella lineup announcement, but the rumor season so far has been pretty quiet. We reported that Beyoncé, The Weeknd and either/or Arctic Monkeys and/or The Chainsmokers would headline the festival next year. But, Consequence of Sound has reported that Eminem, Beyoncé and The Weeknd will headline next year.

Beyoncé and The Weeknd match up with our sources, but Eminem stands out as a surprising headliner. However, Consequence of Sound has a perfect record when it comes to leaking Coachella headliners so far, so we’re willing to take the prediction with a grain of salt. Eminem also just released his new album Revival this month and has yet to play the festival. He did appear as a guest during the infamous Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg headlining set in 2012, so the relationship is there. One notable fact about these headliners is that there is no rock headliner. Instead, each headliner represents shades of hip-hop, R&B and pop. It would mark a big diversion for Coachella’s trend of headliner bookings thus far, but makes sense given the current landscape of music.

Coachella’s lineup will release in early January, so keep your eyes peeled as we report on the full lineup reveal.
