Well, this isn’t good… A brush fire has broken out just miles away from Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival grounds and is said to be spreading rapidly.
The fire was first reported around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday — and according to CBS LA, is approximately six miles from the music festival. Much too close for comfort.
So far, the fire has destroyed 10 acres of vegetation and downed power lines. However, no structures are being threatened by the location of the fire.
CBS LA reports the fire is about 10 percent contained. Hopefully firefighters can keep the blaze under control so the third day of Coachella can go on safely.
