2012 was a good year for EDM. Zedd’s “Clarity” came out, Knife Party released “Internet Friends,” Baauer’s “Harlem Shake” took the world by storm, Skrillex dropped “Bangarang,” Porter Robinson unleashed “Language,” deadmau5 hit us with “The Veldt” — and Avicii vs. Nicky Romero came out with this upbeat anthem destined for music festivals and dance floors alike.
The collaborative track gained attention on a global scale back in 2012, particularly in the UK where it topped the charts. Playing this one back today, it feels so nostalgic yet it’s hard to believe five years have passed since it was released.
