Rich Brian has made music history!
By rising to #1 on the iTunes Hip Hop Chart, he becomes the first (solo) Asian artist in history to do so.
Note: Far East Movement has topped the chart before, with “Like A G6.” However, that was also just a single, and not an album.
With his debut album Amen on the rise, music lovers are raving about Rich Brian. The self-taught rapper learned everything he needed to know about appealing to the masses via YouTube, before his own music video “Dat $tick” blew up and put him on a track towards super-stardom.
The Indonesian rapper’s management company 88 Rising shared the amazing news on Twitter before Rich Brian stepped in, “We have made history guys.”
