Lineup announcements this year have been met with more scrutiny than usual, owing in large part to the force that hip hop has become, and the genre’s dominance in the festival circuit. However, at least one festival is doing it right: Shaky Beats.
Shaky Beats is the sister festival to Shaky Knees in Atlanta, GA, and it’s managed to curate a top-notch lineup because the festivals have effectively split their bookings. Shaky Knees gets most of the rock and hip hop, while Shaky Beats handles the dance music; of course there’s a bit of overlap, but the idea is there.
The lineup by day poster was just shared, revealing a well curated mix of artists each and every day for all tastes. Marshmello, Dillon Francis, and Ludacris head up the first day, Friday, while Zedd and Excision top Saturday, and Kygo and Seven Lions finish off the festivities on Sunday.
1-Day General Admission, 1-Day VIP and 1-Day Platinum Tickets are now on sale. 3-Day General Admission, 3-Day VIP and 3-Day Platinum Tickets are still available, as well. VIP Tickets include a premium viewing platform, complimentary beer and water, a cash liquor bar, appetizers served daily, relaxed lounge seating, air conditioned restrooms, and access to General Admission areas. Platinum Tickets include complimentary beverages, a dedicated entrance, complimentary lockers, access to the VIP Lounge and more.
