r/EDM Reveals Highest Voted Songs, Albums, Posts & Topics of 2018
It’s been a big year for all things EDM, including r/EDM. All the hottest songs, albums, posts and topics from 2018 have been revealed in a new update.
Illenium is easily one of Reddits’ favorite EDM acts, as he makes five appearances in the top 30 highest rated songs for the year. “Take You Down” sits at the number one spot with 610 points. His “Without Me” remix for Halsey comes in second with 478 points.
The number one DJ in the world, Martin Garrix, appears on the highest rated songs list six times. Seven Lions, The Chainsmokers, and Odesza are all up there, too. Many of the most popular names happen to appear more than once, proving r/EDM has a distinct taste in music.
There are a few crossovers with Reddit’s highest rated albums and EPs and our own Top 10 Albums of 2018 list. RL Grime‘s NOVA is the most popular on r/EDM, followed closely by SanHolo‘s album1, and What So Not‘s Not All The Beautiful Things comes in third.
