Two months ago, it was finally revealed that Rick and Morty would be returning to Adult Swim this year, in November. Since then, we haven’t heard much about the series. But now, official images from the new Season 4 have made their way onto the internet.
There’s not much to go on from the scenes shared by Rick and Morty, apart from the fact that it looks as brilliant as ever — even more so, possibly. In the first image, we see Rick walking through some other planet’s version of tall grass, smiling against a serene setting.
In the second image, we see Rick facing down a gang of crocodile/alien robot hybrid… things. There’s a clear parallel here to Crocubot, who met his end in season three episode “Vindicators 3: The Return of Worldender,” but they’re clearly different creatures.
Altogether, the two images do nothing apart from get us excited for season 4. Only a few short months to go! See the images from season 4 below.
