Tekashi 69 is hoping to pick up right where he left off when he gets out of prison.
He reportedly just signed a new record deal with his former label 10K Projects for $10 million. The contract calls for two albums, one in English and one in Spanish.
Apparently, 69 is wasting no time either. He’s already working on new music, according to inside sources.
“It looks like he will be making music right away when he comes home,” an anonymous music industry source revealed to Page Six. “He already contacted a young NYC producer, and someone purchased two beats for him.”
As for when 69 will be released from prison, we don’t know. It’s unclear how much time will be knocked off his minimum 47-year sentence in exchange for his testimony against former associates and the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods members.
Tekashi 69’s debut album, Dummy Boy, released during his imprisonment on November 27, 2018.
