Multiple women have come forward today accusing Datsik of sexual misconduct — and for his fellow artists and fans it’s been difficult to think about anything else since the news broke. Not only has this situation completely shook the EDM community, but its continuously affecting all of those who are a part of the #MeToo movement. As of now, Datsik is still trending on Twitter with over 14k tweets and counting.
Dasik fell silent for hours before releasing an official statement regarding the matter. And unfortunately, when he came back with a response it lacked any real accountability or apology. It seems all of these claims were entirely dismissed by Datsik with the following words:
“I don’t condone that kind of behavior and I care about every single person that I meet, on the real. I know this is a sensitive subject and I am also a sensitive dude, so please say what u must but honestly I want u to know that this shit means the world to me. […] I will make a bigger effort to make sure that nothing I do will be misinterpreted in the future.”

Some have called Datsik out by name, others have inadvertently given him the middle finger, and needless to say, the entire EDM world is in shock. Well, some are in shock and others say they saw this coming from a mile away.
Here are the DJs, the fans, the people close to the scene — and here’s what they have to say.
EDM Reacts To Claims Against Datsik
Yo bro, your deception isn't fooling anyone but yourself. Own up to your actions and accept the consequences. Have some fucking honor.
— KREWELLA (@Krewella) March 15, 2018
All I’m gonna say right now is what goes around comes around and you’ll always get what’s coming to you. Be a good person and good things will come… be a horrible fucking human being and eventually it’ll bite you in the ass. Simple enough
— Jauz (@Jauzofficial) March 14, 2018
Here’s the thing: don’t be a dickhead and I shall support u as a human
— ALISON WONDERLAND (@awonderland) March 14, 2018
if wat I hear is true then ofcourse I think it’s absolutely horrendous & a big big mistake ..!
— ᴿᵉᶻᶻ (@OfficialRezz) March 14, 2018
I don't think much else needs to be said about that response besides the fact that assault isn't something that gets 'misinterpreted'… it's pretty fucking cut and dry. Good riddance.
— rob (@bixelboys) March 15, 2018
Dude you got all these allegations and that’s the best you can do? That was a weak sauce response and nobody is going to believe it. Not when numerous girls in different cities are saying the same thing. #fail

life hack: don’t be a scum bag
— HXV (@WE_ARE_HXV) March 14, 2018
"Due to the allegations against Datsik we will be removing all related content including pictures and videos. I made the choice for our team to spend March honoring women and he has shown an opposition to that belief."
— Freed Lance Collective (@freedlanceco) March 14, 2018
I'm tired of it just being females coming forward about rape culture/allegations. Dudes, stop protecting these slimballs. If you have been around a female being taken advantage of and said nothing u are just as bad. No 1 is that cool. Speak up.#DATSIK
— Porn and Chicken (@pornNchicken) March 14, 2018
This isn't passable. You need to directly respond to the allegations, and acknowledge the women who have come forward.
— Dani Deahl (@danideahl) March 14, 2018
What even are you doing sleeping with loads of random girls if you got yourself a bomb ass gf
— Emma (@FitchBass) March 14, 2018
Hopefully people will understand it is very much not my place to say anything more about this, and remember these things always come out in the end. Don’t be stupid
— Emma (@FitchBass) March 14, 2018
Smh….. I’m a “Vibe Reader” he said…..
“Drunk” and “Vulnerable” are the vibes he must be keen on picking up
— The FPIA (@TheFPIA) March 15, 2018
Fans certainly aren’t holding back either…

Troy, I’ve been your fan since I was in 7th grade but with all due respect this is beyond the shittiest and least explicated statement for yourself you just gave us. If you truly care you need to explain yourself dude.. otherwise I can’t support you anymore
